Why do I do this?

Eight years ago I was working at an IT company and kept seeing the same picture over and over: small business owners drowning in technical problems. A café owner spending evenings trying to figure out their website. A hairdresser losing customers because appointments are tracked on a piece of paper. A freelancer who can't figure out why their email isn't working.

I thought: why not actually help these people? Not the ones who can figure it out themselves — but the ones who need help and have no time to learn it all.
